About Us
The Institute of Applied Research (IAR) operates as group of experts in research, innovation, policy and development who provide consultancy services in the areas of agriculture, health and social care, environment, gender and youth; trade and markets to address economic and social development matters. The organization is registered under the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992) of the Republic of Ghana.
Our core businesses include:

- Project and programme appraisal (monitoring and impact evaluation)
- Designing of data collection surveys (including online survey) and implementation (including data collection, analysis and interpretation)
- Grant Proposal writing
- Organizational business plan and strategy development
- Policy and stakeholder engagements
- Policy analysis (evaluating the economic, social, and environmental impact of public policies)
Additionally, IAR offers tailored capacity building and training in data management, analytics and statistical software training, including STATA, SPSS, R, SAS, PC-Give, Microfit Interactive Econometric Analysis Programme, and other statistical software.
